Hiral Tipirneni (AZ-8)

Why we’re in her corner:

  • Dr. Hiral Tipirneni has dedicated her life to serving the Phoenix community, spending more than 20 years as an emergency room physician, cancer research advocate, and, most recently, as a member of the Maricopa Health Foundation board of directors.
  • We support her candidacy and her platform to improve our struggling health care system, ensuring that all Americans have access to quality, affordable health care, expanding Medicare to allow all Americans to buy into the system, and guaranteeing that no one is denied coverage because of a pre-existing condition.
  • As a first-time candidate, who knows firsthand what it’s like to feel that your voice is not being heard by leaders in Washington, Dr. Tipirneni is the embodiment of the type of candidate we need in Congress.
Kara Eastman (NE-2)

Why we’re in her corner:

  • As the leader of the Omaha Healthy Kids Alliance, the Vice Chair of the Board of Metropolitan Community College, and a social worker with experience helping Nebraskan families, Fight Back PAC strongly supports Kara’s candidacy.
  • Through her non-profit, Kara has created dozens of jobs within the  organization, in city government, and through partnerships with the small businesses and contractors.
  • Kara’s commitment to put working families first and to serve the interests of Nebraskans, rather than special interests, makes her uniquely suited to serve in public office.
Kendra Horn (OK-5)
  • Why we’re in her corner:
Kendra has dedicated her life to serving her community, even running two non-profits committed to developing leadership skills and helping women run for public office.
  • Fight Back PAC supports her candidacy and her platform to put working families first, make sure the voices of the 5th district are heard, and bring common sense solutions to the challenges facing our country.
  • Kendra’s deep roots in the community and her commitment to public service and civic engagement are central to her campaign. It’s time we all take a page out of her book by standing up and declaring that our voices will be heard this fall!
Lizzie Fletcher (TX-7)

Why we’re in her corner:

  • As a lawyer, Lizzie has represented Houstonians from diverse backgrounds who face difficult issues every day. They work in oilfields, hospitals, boardrooms, and small businesses. Lizzie listens to them, helps solve their problems, and tells their stories. In Washington, Lizzie will fight for them.
  • Lizzie will stand against Donald Trump and the Republicans in Congress who continue to attack Planned Parenthood. And she will work to protect access to affordable reproductive health services and support policies to encourage access to contraception.
  • In Washington, Lizzie will make sure we invest in our schools and  encourage vocational training and re-training that helps people connect their interests and skills with good jobs.
Gina Ortiz Jones (TX-23)

Why we’re in her corner:

  • Gina will bring her experience as an intelligence officer and the core values instilled in her while growing up in San Antonio to work for us in Washington.
  • As the daughter of a lifelong educator, Gina understands that a quality education is the key to a better future. In Congress, Gina will fight to ensure every Texas student has access to a first-class education and the resources they need.
  • Gina will work to make healthcare affordable and accessible to every American. Gina supports a single payer system and understands that with our country’s health, there can only be one incentive: a healthy population.
Lucy McBath (GA-6)

Why we’re in her corner:

  • In 2012, Lucy lost her son to a senseless act of gun violence and became a dedicated gun-reform activist. She uniquely understands the pain of those who’ve lost loved ones to guns — so she will fight like hell to pass common-sense gun safety reforms.
  • From her work as a spokesperson for Everytown for Gun Safety and Moms Demand Action, to her work establishing the Champion in The Making Legacy Foundation that helps high school graduates financially with college or technical education programs, Lucy’s story and her work are so important.
  • Lucy McBath has fought so many battles after she lost her son, and she isn’t going to back down from this fight either.
Lauren Underwood (IL-14)

Why we’re in her corner:

  • Lauren is running because she knows that this moment in history requires courageous people to stand up and restore the people’s voice in Washington.
  • As a registered nurse with hands-on experience in America’s healthcare industry, Lauren knows how important it is that all Americans have access to high-quality healthcare they can afford.
  • Lauren believes we have moral obligation to address the gun violence epidemic, and that’s why in Congress she’ll work to pass universal background checks for all gun sales and close loopholes that make it too easy for criminals and dangerously mentally ill to buy guns.
